WHY COALI ?
Don’t waste time looking for the meaning of the term COALI in a dictionary because you will not find it. It derives from the local dialect and it means “lair”. We chose it because of our family’s desire to connect the company to our territory. Coali is in fact the name of the area between the Sant’Ambrogio hills and the lovely Romanesque parish church of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron, at the gates of the Valpolicella Classica area.
Just like its name, the company is also surrounded by a hint of charm and curiosity. To reach it, in fact, you need to leave the town of Sant’Ambrogio behind you and take a country road leading to one of the most charming places in the region, where culture, history and passion for wine are combined in a magical atmosphere framed by the lovely views of lake Garda.

THE SAVOIA FAMILY
The Savoia Family, owners of the vineyard, began their adventure as winemakers in 1997. This quiet landscape is unique because of its peculiar microclimate. Their history is much older dating back to the grandfather of the current owners. Their passion for the wine-growing was inherited by the Savoia family and their sons are now an integral part of the company.
Marina has a degree in Humanities and is responsible for the foreign markets. Silvia has a degree in Oenology and she is the vintner, Teresa is the administration manager, Caterina is responsible for customer service and Mario is the manager.
